The budget process is well underway. Town department heads are finalizing their budget and capitals requests for the upcoming year, and are submitting them to the Town Administrator for review. The Town Administrator is responsible for submitting a budget recommendation to the Town Council on April 1st.
The Town wants to know what your budget priorities are!
Go to ‘Open Town Hall’ and share your ideas in our ‘FY2013 Budget forums’: from the home page follow Home-> Online Services-> Open Town Hall. The forums have been available for a number of weeks, and will close on December 31st.
New Forums will be setup again in April to allow public input about the budgets submitted to the Town Council by the Town Administrator and School Committee.
